Don’t miss out on the fun. Join Terry Rabideau for an hour of stories, music, a craft and lots of fun!
In a six-week course participants will explore watercolor and a variety of water-based materials while interpreting organic forms. Traditional and non-traditional materials such as watercolor, ink, gouache and natural stains will be explored on a variety of papers. Still-life settings will be created using plants, tree trunks, limbs, nuts, leaves, fruits and so forth. Class members will be encouraged to take chances with the materials to create inkblots, stains and ghost images. Traditional watercolor techniques will be discussed and demonstrated to add to the vocabulary of mark making. Through the renditions of particular organic forms and taking risks with materials each individual will explore emerging images that are intuitively acted upon.
These workshops are open to young adults through adults and will accommodate all levels of experience. Class limited to 15 participants. Registration Required.
